The Media problem; FCC, Broadcast studios, Streaming services, Hollywood

 Being transgender isn't easy, any transgender person can tell you this. The cards are generally stacked against us for many reasons made worse by broadcast studios, Hollywood, streaming services, sensationalized shows, bad press, political manipulation, Religious reasons, Ignorant persecutors, TERFS,  population control tactics, witch hunts, and flat out ignorance and fear mongering.

This blog will attempt to explore some of this,  and at the bottom of this blog I'll site some sources for you to continue your education/journey if you so choose.

 So where do we start to shed light?  there is so much to cover lets just dive in 

Sensationalized Story telling for entertainment and business (Psycho, Monster, Silence of the Lambs, Dalhmer, latest netflix shows - Ed Gaines)

First I want to Mention that the broadcast media is becoming a monopoly of only a few companies owning ALL channels of information and entertainment. Not to Mention Brendan Carr (FCC), appointed by Trump, attempted to shut down Jimmy Kimell.  The Link  It wasn't Cancel Culture it was something worse covers this and I encourage you to wake up and take a look. The Monopoly laws that are supposed to protect us have been dissolved. Monopolies are a REAL thing again and REALLY bad for free people. 

Now...regarding media and broadcasting doing harm to minority groups, and groups that historically have been oppressed. There has been much written about this already, the book "whipping girl" does a great job of exploring the damage movies like (ace venura, crying game, etc) and sensationalized shows have done, do, and continue to do.  The problem is this; People are fearful, messy creatures easily scared and manipulated.  And by nature, the human brain wants to see patterns, categorize, label, classify everything around it, this is why people see Jesus in a piece of burnt toast as example or an elephant in the shape a cloud takes. Consequently, people can draw bad and wrong conclusions fairly easily. People are taught to generally fear what they don't understand or are not familiar with or the unknown to them. Additionally most people do not pursue deep dives into subject matter, rather they take what ever channel of information they are tuned into, as a full accounting of a subject. This is very dangerous and very bad. Because of this most humans are fairly easily manipulated by it. Shows that are not careful with their narrative, spun up as documentaries, or docu-tainment, can and many times are highly irresponsible to the needs of minority groups struggling for social justice. The book "Whipping Girl" and the documentary video "Disclosure" both cover this in a deep dive and I include links to both below and encourage you to learn more through them. They tell the story better than I can. 

 

TERFS

TERF stands for Transgender Exclusionary Radical Feminist... you know women who walk by you with a look of "Barely disguised contempt". Those women. And J.K. Rowlings is a king pin organizing groups (including fake ones) against the transgender community. If you don't believe me watch the documentary "Debunking Transphobia", which I share link to at the bottom of this page. Or better yet just google her public remarks. For someone that writes about hope, and fighting oppression, and inclusion, and love, its amazing in real life how opposite of that her actions and comments are.

TERFS can also be TE. Transgender exclusionary women as well. Those that say things like "You know you can't be a woman right?" or how about this one, which a therapist said to me once "Only a man and a real woman can have a child"  Just wow.... needless to say I reported the therapist and stopped seeing them. I mean WTF...does that have to do with anything related to my identity? AND...there are many women that cannot have a child does that make them not a woman. or is a Woman only defined by genitals? Ridiculous. 

I personally believe that some may also believe there are only so many slices of pie to go around, and not enough for everyone. And they may be tuning into the hype of bad stories (my first points about Hollywood and broadcast media). They are also probably steered by ancient religious scripture, which was created by men and continues to be driven by men. And finally They may be steered by the men around them, or the peer circles they travel in. Them Vs. Us mentality.

TERFS and the Bathroom Argument... they say young women need to be protected from dangerous predators, which is laughable because transgender women are kind, empathic, gentle, and to be real only need to use the bathroom. That's it. And the statistics show that transgender women typically are the ones who are in danger in bathroom situations. Transgender Women just want to go to the bathroom, or put on makeup. That's it. Nothing to see here. go away...mind your business. Additionally, the world is changing. the idea of binary, male female bathrooms, IMO needs go away and be supported by unisex bathrooms. And many businesses are starting to do just that. Yes for bigger venues, stadiums this is a tougher problem. Thus the lines... but it is a problem that could (and should) be solved. One thing that is constant is change, and the human race is changing. 

  

Political manipulation

where do we start... cause this is seriously happening.

Fascist governments, governments that wish to control people are a thing. History has shown that fascist governments rise and have historically started by blaming a minority group for something, anything. The strategy goes like this. First, pick a minority group. separate that group from the rest of the population, Unite the rest of the population as doing good against a perceived "others" group which is the problem with everything so the rest of the population has a common enemy. eradicate the common enemy. Take credit for "fixing the problem" for which (quoting fingers here) the leadership can take credit for and stay in power. next pick another problem group...rinse repeat.  

History has "World Wars" that happened because of this type of playbook and MILLIONS of people were murdered because of tactics like this. Our grandfathers fought against this and fought to free the world from this Tyranny and now if we are not careful.... this will happen again. 

Charlie Kirk, used hate speech for political gain. He said things like "We should take care of"  transgender people...."the way we took care of things in the 50's and 60's." WTF does that mean??  honestly...lets be real...he was calling for lynching and murder, institutionalization, and lobotomies!.  Charlie was a person filled with hate, and a person who used hate speech to gain power and followers. And lets not sugar coat this... Charlie was taking a page from the 3rd Reich playbook and running with it. Who knows where that may have led.

Similarly Trump, his family, his pawns (banning, Carr,  Hegseth, Leavitt) are also using similar tactics of divide and control/conquer (get votes).

Stepping back.. we also have to not just look at Trump, Trump by himself is harmless, we also have to look at whats behind this..., his puppet masters, my guess is Putin has dirt on Trump. Probably Epstein related. We as a people will probably never know. 

United we stand, divided we fall has never been so true. My hope is the good free people. ALL of us, wake up and realize that the citizens of the US are not the enemies of each other, rather its the minority people in office and the shadow puppet masters that need to be ferreted out. 

 

Religious Manipulation

Lets be real.... most religions are Ancient and were written by Men. And all of them laid down rules, laws and systems designed to guide (and control) humans and explain, good, bad, the universe.

Fear is a cornerstone of many religions, George Carlin called this out about the hypocrisy of religions messaging, he said , and paraphrasing "There are rules you must follow and if you don't follow them..then you will be sent to a lake of fire to burn and be in pain for all eternity...but he love you..." This is nuts, crazy and ridiculous, your creator loves you but is going to burn you alive for eternity if you step out of line.. that sounds like @#%#%# @#%# to me. 

In World War II 15 million+ people were murdered. Jewish, Gays, Transgender, any minority that didn't fit into the club of what was acceptable. For Transgender people there is mountains of FACT driven history around what happened to them during WWII. Part of the first book burning involved a huge base of knowledge around transgender people (link and discussion in the book "Before we were trans" below).

Politicians, Trump is especially immoral, Unethical, and corrupt as any leader has ever been in U.S. History. And if you look closest he is not religious but uses religion to get votes. Just search google and see for yourself...  Before the election I talked to a religious person about this and what they said to me was telling. They said "I don't really like the guy, but I think he will be good for the country." For me this was mind blowing, this person goes to church, is involved in the running of it. yet... looks the other way regarding the character of this really bad human being, who is looking to regain a seat of power. I personally don't think that Jesus (or God) would approve of Trump and his behavior and actions. The teachings as I understand them come from a point of love, fellowship, acceptance, kindness. Not from a place of division, hate, control and fear. 

 

 Witch Hunts, Ignorance, Fear Mongering

Fear and Ignorance, leads to Witch Hunts. 

To sum...Fear is a powerful emotion and can be weaponized, as touched on above. The links below go into deeper dives of what is going on. I think I've covered this one enough for now. 

 

The Rants of an Angry Transgender Woman

As a Citizen living in what our government tells us is a "Free Country" and for which our constitution says I have the right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness. When I go to a ball game we all stand up and sing "...land of the free and home of the brave" yet we don't seem to practice this much these days. These days seem dark. There are cities in the U.S. where the government is attempting to activate troops to govern the cities, retaliation is what it is. This is crazy. The Government putting Citizen soldiers in harms way and pitting them against private citizens, in hopes that something bad will happen. Finally...there is a massive battle for control of minds, media broadcasting is becoming a monopoly, and if we are not careful the United states may very well become the 4th Reich.

In Search of the Island for Misfit Toys

  My ex (when we were married) and I used to love the old seasonal tv special " Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys "    yet we'd acknowledge that there were some hidden messages this show was trying to teach audiences, the obvious being First Rudolph is born different Second there is an elf that, doesn't want to be a toy maker, but ( quoting my fingers here in the air ) wants to be a "Dentist". And then there is this place called "the Island of Misfit Toys"   All of these crafted analogies clearly was the networks way of addressing being "different" and their message to the viewers; " It is OK to be different, in fact its a super power and we should not fear it"   So how does this relate to my journey and maybe yours.   Before my ex asked for a divorce we would watch and laugh because it just showed some of the history of how uncomfortable and uptight America is with sexual orientation, not to be confus...

Hello Is Anyone Out There? - First Post

My first blog post. I like to think this post is a little like attempting a first contact. First contact I would imagine would start with a question "Is anyone out there, anyone listening?" And ya.... I do believe we are not alone. So... going with that loose analogy I've decided to put thoughts and observations, my ideas out into the universe from the standpoint of my life as a human, and more specifically as a transgender woman. And since this is my first post let me share a little about myself, an introduction if you will.
